“My recent visit to a book signing event September 13, 2025 at the My Open Book Expo proved to be very interesting and enlightening. As fans of reading books, my husband and myself had the opportunity to engage with different authors, ask questions, and receive personalized signatures, which added a meaningful touch to our experience. The event was well organized, with a warm atmosphere, and a wonderful brunch. This event felt so welcoming and overall, the event fostered a strong sense of community among readers and the authors. My husband and myself look forward to the next event.”

“I met Madelene through a co worker that was up an coming author like me. She told me about a book expo Madelene was having. I reached out to Madelene to inquire about any space that was available to attend her book expo. The name of the event was My Open Book Expo. Madelene let me know there was a few slots open and i secured my spot to my first authors event. Madelene reached out to me before the event, to my surprise and asked if I would like to be a featured first author for her newsletter and podcast series promoting the Expo. I was excited for the opportunity and exposure. Madilyn was very professional and passionate about helping new authors. Madilyn provides a platform that will introduce you to the world of being an author and being excited about it. I got a chance to speak at the expo/event and met many authors. I networked to gain guidance and knowledge. Madelene provided an open door into the community of authors. Shortly after attending Madelene’s life changing expo. I received a call from someone that purchased my book from the expo and wanted me again to be a featured author at there upcoming event a few hours away. Madelene has been instrumental in helping me promote my book, I want to thank Madelene for her platform that provides such great inspiration to new authors.”

“To know the heart of someone who as a passion for writing and helping others is to know Madelene. As an author, by attending the My Open Book Expo two years in a row, I have connected with other authors across the country who I have learned so much from, hence the purpose of the My Open Book Expo. I had no idea there are writing workshops available where I can learn more about the art of writing a book. From writing a non-fiction book to writing a children’s book, I made connections that have changed the game in my writer’s journey. I look forward to the next My Open Book Expo and the next.”
